We have now completed our annual in depth review of our Affiliate Programme and I am writing to let you know of some key changes which we shall implement as the result of this review.
VoucherCode Affiliates.
As from midnight Friday 6th November 2009 IWOOT will cease to work with Voucher Code Affiliates and will not pay Affiliate commission to Voucher Code sites on transactions effected after that time.
We consider Voucher Code Affiliates as those whose URL contains the term (or derivatives of the term) -: ‘code’, ‘vouchercode’, ‘promotional code’, ‘voucher’ ‘coupon’, or whose Website appears in search engine listings under any of the terms or derivatives of those outlined above or whose ’s primary focus is to promote the use of vouchercodes
We are taking this action since we have concluded that we should prefer to ensure that any promotional campaign we may decide to operate should benefit our customers, rather than intermediaries and that the vouchercode affiliate channel does not serve to strengthen the Brand relationship between IWOOT and our customers.
Therefore if you are a vouchercode directory please ensure that you remove all IWantoneofThose.com links by midnight, Friday 6th November 2009.
Cash-Back Affiliates.
We have decided that as from midnight Friday 6thNovember we shall cease to work with all but a selected few Affiliate cash-back sites since we wish to initiate and manage targeted campaigns with these selected Affiliate cash-back sites on a specific and partnership based arrangement for the benefit of our customers.
No affiliate commission will be paid to Cash-back Affiliates on transactions effected after this time.
